Not nearly as odd as you think, I'd actually say not odd at all. It's just a nice song. the fact that it switches up isn't bad, it's just tough to make that transition. You should focus on that for a bit, and make the ending more satisfying. Great work!

It's atonal; you could do much better.

The synth IS harsh, and annoying, no matter what genre you put it in. The parts in between are nice, but that crazy smashing synth noise is simply amelodic. Not really satisfying as music as a whole. I understand you spent a long time working on it, and it does sound well polished, but it's best part lasts less than a minute before being intruded by the monster synth. If I could close by saying that I love jazz, but I hate the random noise that is avant-garde jazz. So it goes with this, I love techno and electronic music, but this is atonal and not enjoyable to listen to.

I like the second half best.

the first half is WAY too frantic, and it gets that way near the end again. So I guess I like the parts where there isn't too much being "PUMPED" in at once. REALLY abrupt too.

I'd say the only real criticisms I have are about the tone. Your guitar is pretty muddy, and doesnt really match the well keyed drums. Nice Metal / electronic crossover, all in all.

Make more of it!

It's a great song so far, but you should look into decreasing the volume of your main synths. They're really loud compared to the rest of the song. Great job though, just add more ideas on it!

Synth guitar?

If you can, you should try to record real guitar. It kind of ruins it through the inhuman sound, and I think some real playing would clear that up easy. Sounds nice!

Cool little song

Just watch your balance on the volume, when the rythm guitar comes in it just pummels everything out of the way, and makes the rest sound a bit muddy. The lead guitar sounds a bit plain, instead of using a delay effect, use a flanger maybe? All in all a good, short song.

Turn the treble down

You're getting an idea for a rythm for the bass, but you should spice it up a little bit. Experiment with different notes, and stay away from the root note. Keep working on it!
